In this project pupils will investigate 'Why is St Leonard's Church significant to Middleton?' Pupils will visit this Grade 1 listed building and learn about its history as a place of worship and its memorial stained glass window which is dedicated to the memory of the Middleton archers who fought at the Battle of Flodden Field in 1513.
